Islam and Science: Logic, Reason, and Faith

The relationship between Islam and science is one of harmony, not conflict. The Quran repeatedly urges believers to observe, reflect, and use their intellect to understand the signs of Allah in the universe.

The Divine Mandate

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. (Quran 3:190). Science as a Tool: Scientific inquiry is a way to appreciate the complexity and wisdom of Allah's creation. It is a form of collective worship (Fard Kifayah).

Ethics of Knowledge

Knowledge must be used for the benefit of humanity and the preservation of life and the environment, guided by Islamic ethics. Reclaiming the legacy of great Muslim scientists like Al-Haytham, Ibn Sina, and Al-Khwarizmi to inspire future generations.
