Countering Extremism and Promoting Moderation (Wasatiyyah)
Extremism, in all its forms, is a deviation from the balanced and moderate path of Islam. Promoting Wasatiyyah (the middle way) is essential.
Foundations
And thus we have made you a median (middle) nation that you will be witnesses over the people. (Quran 2:143). Wasatiyyah (Moderation): Islam is a path of balance between excess and neglect.
The Middle Way
Refuting Radical Ideologies: Challenge interpretations of Islam that promote violence, hatred, or the rejection of others. Promoting Peace and Sabr (Patience): Focus on building through knowledge, character, and constructive social engagement.

Modern Applications
Identify and counter radicalizing narratives online and in person.
Promote a holistic understanding of Islam that emphasizes mercy and wisdom.
