Curriculum Breakdown

The Role of Charity in Community Empowerment

Charity in Islam is a tool for systemic change and empowering individuals to become self-reliant.

Foundations

If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good; but if you conceal them... it is better. (Quran 2:271). Development over Dependency: Prioritize charity that provides skills and tools for self-sufficiency.

Empowerment

Investing in People: Recognizing the potential of every individual. Holistic Empowerment: Addressing social, educational, and economic needs simultaneously.

"It is better for any of you to take a rope and bring a bundle of wood... than to ask people who may or may not give him."

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
